Nicole R. Fortune has more than 10 years of litigation experience in New Hampshire courtrooms. She has prosecuted violations, misdemeanors and felonies in District and Superior Court and sought involuntary treatment and commitment of those found incompetent though the Probate Court. In private practice, Nicole has served as defense counsel and counsel for those seeking Habeas Corpus relief, as well as those served with domestic violence, restraining, or stalking petitions. She also practices Family, Probate, Landlord/Tenant, and Labor Law and offers advice on small claims cases.
Nicole is a New Hampshire native who grew up in Boscawen. On her 18th birthday she joined the United States Army. She served honorably for 8 years in Military Intelligence, receiving many awards and promotions while completing her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. She returned to New Hampshire where she joined the National Guard working in JAG while she completed her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and obtained her Juris Doctor.
Nicole is currently a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Disabled American Veterans and in 2011 she received a Governor's Citation her military service and public service to New Hampshire as a prosecutor and Assistant County Attorney.
